And now Masala Coffee has come up with a beautiful new album – ‘Ektara’. ‘Teri Udaan’ is a powerful, hard-hitting song from this album, shedding light on the issue of female infanticide – wherein a female foetus is cruelly aborted in favour of a male child.

About Teri Udaan Song:

Talking about this horrifying crime, Teri Udaan paints a haunting yet poetic picture of the little girl that no amount of crying and pleading can save. The only hope that she has is to be protected in the shadows of her mother!

Melodically imbued with a positive note, Teri Udaan gives us hope that the world will let the little girl grow up with dreams and the ability to achieve them. Because the world is incomplete without a woman; who within her has the power to create, nourish and to transform!
