According to reports, the ‘Wake Up Sid’ actress got pregnant before her marriage with her co-star Ranvir Shorey. The duo had met on sets of Madhuri Dixit’s film ‘Aaja Nachle’ (2006) and fell in love.
After dating for several years, Konkona & Ranvir had tied the knot in a hush-hush ceremony in 2010. A few months later, she had announced her pregnancy and gave birth to her son Haroon Shorey in 2011.
4. First Choice For ‘The Namesake’
Did you guys know Konkona Sensharma was the first choice of director Mira Nair for the role of the female lead in ‘The Namesake’? Despite liking the script, Konkona had to turn down the project due to date issues. The role was later played by Tabu.
5. Separation
After 5 years of marriage, Konkona Sensharma and Ranvir Shorey had mutually decided to part ways in 2015. In February 2020, the couple had supposedly filed for a divorce, which was granted by the court last year in August.
