After the massive success of ‘Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta’, Pratik Gandhi has bagged another OTT show titled ‘The Great Indian Murder’.
Co-starring Richa Chadha, the murder mystery series is based on Vikram Swarup’s much-acclaimed novel ‘Six Suspects‘.
Directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia, the series also features Raghubir Yadav, Ashutosh Rana, Shashank Arora, Paoli Dam and Sharib Hashmi in pivotal roles. The series is produced by Ajay Devgn and Priti Vinay Sinha.
Richa, who plays the role of DCP Sudha Bharadwaj, and Pratik, who essays the role of a Central Bureau of Investigation officer named Suraj Yadav, are tasked to solve the murder of a politician’s (played by Ashutosh Rana) son, Vicky Rai.
Set in Delhi, the book revolves around the son of the Home Minister of Uttar Pradesh who is murdered by a guest at his own party. When the police officers arrive to investigate, they find six strange characters in the possession of a gun, all with a motive to kill him.
