Former Captain of the Indian cricket team, MS Dhoni launched his own media company called ‘Dhoni Entertainment‘ in 2019 with his wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni.
Now, Dhoni Entertainment is all set to publish a web series that is an adaptation of debutant author Ramesh Thamilmani`’s unpublished book.
The sci-fi web series, which is a ‘new-age graphic novel‘, is called ‘Atharva‘, which is also the title of the book. Dhoni has finally revealed his first look and it’s mind-blowing!
Talking about the book and the series, Sakshi says, “The book is a mythological sci-fi which explores the journey of a mysterious Aghori who has been captured at a high-tech facility. The secrets revealed by this Aghori could alter the myths of the ancient, beliefs of the existing and course of the forthcoming.”
“We would like to ensure that we execute all the aspects of this universe and bring out every character and story to the screen, with as much precision as possible. Web-series fit our purpose better than adapting it into a feature film,” she adds.
