Mrunal Thakur confessed to having suicidal thoughts; she would wonder about jumping off a local train!
Talking to Youtuber Ranveer Allahbadia, Mrunal confessed that from ages 15-20, facing challenges could sometimes lead to one having troubling thoughts while figuring out life.

“I thought I would be married off at 23 and have kids, and that is exactly what I did not want. I wanted to do something different and I would give auditions back then. There were many points where I felt like I was good for nothing,” Mrunal said.

She further added – “I used to travel by local trains. I used to stand at the door and sometimes, I would feel like jumping off.”
Career Shift – From Dentistry, BMM To Acting
Mrunal’s parents wanted her to pursue dentistry but she decided to go for BMM. But when the course wasn’t what she expected, she felt lost in life.
“When you choose a course, it looks very fun on the outside but until you do it, you don’t realise that you didn’t sign up for this, this is something else. That is what was happening with me,” the Super 30 actress said.

But all’s well that ends well. Mrunal persevered through self-doubt and is now enjoying success as an actress. Her next film is with Shahid Kapoor – Jersey.
