Manoj Bajpayee is all set to be back with yet another OTT series.
After Ray‘s Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa segment, the actor and director Abhishek Chaubey have reunited for the upcoming web series – Soup.
Loosely based on a true incident, the Netflix original features Konkona Sensharma as the female lead. The unconventional dark comedy-drama marks Manoj’s first collaboration with Konkona.
On Friday (March 4), Netflix India took to Instagram and shared some glimpse of the show along with the first look. Have a look:
According to reports, ‘Soup’ revolves around the story of Swathi Shetty (played by Konkona) who isn’t the best cook but dreams of owning a restaurant. But her suspicious husband Prabhakar (played by Manoj) won’t help her as he has his own doubts. When Swathi starts cooking up a master plan, things take a turn.
Manoj was last seen in the Zee5 movie titled ‘Dial 100’. On the other hand, Konkona was last seen in Amazon Prime Video series – ‘Mumbai Diaries – 26/11’.
