1. Shah Rukh Khan
In 2013, SRK made his way into the Forbes list as the highest-earning Bollywood actor with an estimated earnings of Rs 220.5 Crores. For this achievement, his name is mentioned in the Guinness Book of World Records of the same year.
2. Katrina Kaif
Following Shah Rukh’s feature, Katrina Kaif was also mentioned in the 2013 Katrina Kaif Guinness Book of world records as the highest-earning actress in Bollywood with an estimated earning of Rs 63.75 Crores.
3. Lata Mangeshkar
The late singer had once held a Guinness World Record? Between 1948 and 1974, Lata Ji had supposedly recorded 25,000 songs in various languages. Following the same, the Guinness Book of Records had listed Lata Mangeshkar as ‘the most recorded artist in music history’ in its edition in 1974.
Reportedly, the claim was later contested by Mohammed Rafi, who had allegedly claimed to have sung around 28,000 songs. However, the book continued to list Lata’s name along with Rafi’s claim. The entry was removed in 1991 until 2011.
4. Amitabh Bachchan
As per a report, Bachchan holds a record for singing ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ along with 19 other singers including Kailash Kher, Prasoon Joshi, Shaan, Shankar Mahadevan, Sonu Nigam, Sukhwinder Singh, Suresh Wadkar, Udit Narayan and others. The song was composed by Shekhar Ravjiani.
5. Abhishek Bachchan
Abhishek Bachchan created a record for making the most public appearances in different cities in 12 hours while he was promoting his movie, ‘Delhi 6’. Earlier the record was reportedly held by Daniel Brohl and Jorgen Vogel.
