Directed by Divyang Thakkar, Jayeshbhai Jordaar is a social-comedy film that stars Ranveer Singh and marks the Bollywood debut of Arjun Reddy actress Shalini Pandey.
The makers have finally revealed more information on what Ranveer Singh’s role in the movie looks like and we’re really liking how it’s turning out!
Jayeshbhai Jordaar is all set to release in theatres on 13 May 2022. The synopsis says, “A timid man must muster the courage to fight the patriarchal structure of his hometown for the sake of his family. Will he rise to the occasion or fall by the wayside?“
Now, a report has revealed that the comedy film is going to show Ranveer Singh portraying the character of a Superhero! The source says, “Ranveer Singh plays a feeble frail Gujarati man who overnight acquires super-hero powers. It is like the Malayalam blockbuster Minnal Murali in concept, but designed as a comedy.”
Aditya Chopra has apparently decided to turn Jayeshbhai into a comic book hero. This comic strip avatar of Jayeshbhai Jordaar will coincide with the release of the film. And if the film is a success, Jayeshbhai would be turned into a franchise.
