After Manto and Thackeray, Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s next biopic movie is Lion Calling (tentative title).
Directed by Serious Men producer Sejal Shah, it is allegedly based on a legendary customs officer who tackled the flaws in the system.
The script has been penned by Bhavesh Mandalia (of OMG: Oh My God! fame). As per Pinkvilla report, the filming will begin soon from 20th April. Nawaz has been prepping for the character by training in karate and hurdling!
“The shooting schedule will begin in Goa, where they will be filming for about 10 days, after which they will continue shooting in Mumbai. They will be filming at real locations, recce for which has already been done by Sejal. Casting for the leading lady is currently on,” a source told the portal.
