Malaika Arora was rushed to a hospital after getting injured in a car accident on Saturday evening (April 2).
Reportedly, the actress was returning from a fashion event in Pune and her car met with an accident in the outskirts of Mumbai.
According to NDTV, the accident took place on the Mumbai-Pune expressway when Malaika’s car rammed into three other cars near Khopoli. The 48-year-old actress was immediately admitted to Apollo Hospital in Mumbai for medical treatment.
Reportedly, the police were said to be investigating the accident and would file an FIR later.

Amrita Arora, Malaika’a sister informed India Today that she had sustained minor injuries was ‘gettinng better’. Reportedly, she has had few stitches.
“Malaika is shaken by the incident but doing okay. She has had a few stitches and is doing fine. She didn’t have any major head injury as she had a cushion next to her head. She should be back home by Sunday afternoon.”

The actress has been discharged from the hospital on Sunday morning. As per the latest HT report, Malaika got a CT scan, which apparently ‘turned out fine’.
