3. Hrithik Roshan

Before working on his film Kites, Hrithik suffered from a terrible knee injury that back then had not shown much signs of a fast recovery. Owing to the pain, he thought of exiting the film industry. He had previously mentioned, “I worked on Kites only for seven months. Before that I was trying to treat my knee. For six months there was no sign of recovering from my knee pain. That time I thought either I will turn to singing or direct a film.”
4. Abhishek Bachchan

Abhishek Bachchan has charmed fans with his stellar acting and wit. However, there was a point in his life when he doubted if he’d ever reach the fame his father, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan had achieved in the industry. He said, “At one point in time, I felt it was my mistake that I came into the industry as whatsoever I was trying, it was not working. I went to my dad and said maybe I am not made for this industry.”
5. Sanjay Mishra

Sanjay Mishra, known for his comical characters in classics like ‘Golmaal’, ‘Kaamyaab’ and more, quit the industry after his father passed away. The actor worked at a Dhaba for a mere wage of Rs 150 and had no plans to return. It was director Rohit Shetty who changed his mind and convinced Sanjay to return with the film ‘All The Best’ in 2009.
