Jayeshbhai Jordaar marks the Bollywood debut of ‘Arjun Reddy’ fame Shalini Pandey and also stars Ratna Pathak Shah and Boman Irani in pivotal roles. The trailer of this much-awaited social-drama has been launched today (April 19).
In the trailer, we can see Jayesh’s father (Boman Irani) is the ‘sarpanch’ of the village who desires a boy from his son (played by Ranveer Singh) to carry forward his legacy. Jayesh has a grown-up daughter, and his wife (played by Shalini Pandey) is expecting again.
However, when Jayesh’s parents (played by Boman Irani & Ratna Pathak Shah) get to know that she is again pregnant with a girl child, they want her to abort the child. Jayeshbhai flees along with his wife and daughter to protect his family and unborn child from his orthodox parents.
