Shahid Kapoor-Mrunal Thakur starrer Jersey is the Hindi remake of a Telugu movie of the same name.
Directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri (who helmed the original as well), the Hindi version of the sports drama released in theatres on April 22, 2022.

The Shahid Kapoor-starrer also features Pankaj Kapur, Ronit Kamra and Prit Kamani in pivotal roles.
The synoposis of Jersey reads – “An ex-cricketer struggling to make ends meet, wants to fulfill his child’s wish of getting a Jersey but in the process comes face to face with his heroic past and is forced to decide if he will rise to the occasion and become a symbol of hope or continue to live a life as a loser?”

Sourced from a report, Jersey opened to a box office collection of Rs 3.75 crores. The movie has supposedly collected Rs 5.5 crores on Saturday. Jersey has collected a total amoount of Rs 9.25 CRORES in 2 days.
