Jug Jugg Jeeyo movie trailer was recently released and it had used the song Nach Punjaban in the video.
Pakistani singer Abrar ul Haq, who sang the original track, accused Karan Johar of copying his song without acquiring the rights.
Abrar claimed that he hadn’t sold his song to any Indian movie and would be taking legal action!
After the hungama caused on social media from the singer’s tweet, T-Series also made an official statement refuting the allegations. The banner said that they had legally acquired the rights from 1 Moviebox Records Label.
The record label itself tweeted in support of Jugg Jugg Jeeyo and said that the Pakistani singer’s conduct was defamatory and unacceptable!
