Vijay & Rashmika have worked together in Telugu movies – Geetha Govindam (2018) and Dear Comrade (2019). Reportedly, the actors came closer after Rashmika called off her engagement with Rakshit Shetty in 2018.
Recently, on Koffee With Karan S7, Vijay called the Pushpa actress ‘Darling’ and said – “We have done two films together at a really early stage in my life. She is a darling and I am really fond of her. We are really good friends. We share so much through films, lots of highs and lows. A bond gets created.”

The Pushpa actress will make her Bollywood debut with Amitabh Bachchan-starrer GoodBye. She also has Mission Majnu opposite Sidharth Malhotra and Dharma Productions upcoming film – Screw Dheela, co-starring Tiger Shroff.
