Diljit Dosanjh‘s upcoming movie Jogi tells the story of friendship, courage and hope amidst the 1864 Sikh riots.

Set in Delhi, Jogi is directed and co-produced by Ali Abbas Zafar. The movie also stars Mohd Zeeshan Ayyub, Kumund Mishra, Hiten Tejwani and Amyra Dastur in pivotal roles.
Earlier today (August 20), Netflix shared the teaser and captioned it, “Dekhiye Jogi ka haunsla, Jogi ki himmat, aur Jogi ki dosti.”
Jogi marks the digital debut of Diljit on Netflix. Talking about it, the singer-actor reportedly said in a statement – “Playing the role of Jogi has been one of the most fulfilling experiences and I am excited for my digital debut on Netflix. The entire team has worked really hard to bring to life this beautiful story and I want to thank Ali and Himanshu for trusting me with this role.”
