Kamaal Rashid Khan aka KRK, the self-proclaimed critic-actor, hits headlines again.
As per reports, KRK has been arrested at the Mumbai airport over his derogatory tweets from 2020.
According to News18, Kamaal R. Khan was arrested last night by Malad Police after a case was registered against him in 2020 over his controversial tweets against late actors Rishi Kapoor and Irrfan Khan. The complaint was filed by Yuva Sena member Rahul Kanal.
Reportedly, KRK, who will be presented before Borivali Court today, was arrested under Sections 153A, 294, 500, 501, 505, 67, 98 of the IPC.
It was reported that KRK had posted a derogatory tweet (now deleted) against Rishi Kapoor.
In his tweet, he had asked Rishi ji to not die, as the wine shops were about to open soon amidst the Covid-19 pandemic.
After the demise of Rishi Kapoor & Irrfan Khan, he had allegedly tweeted –
“Just on a serious note, I said few days ago that #Corona can’t go back without taking few famous people. I didn’t write names that time because ppl could have abused me. But I knew that Irfan and Rishi will go. And I know, who is the next one also.”
In the complaint, Rahul Kanal said-
“After Irrfan Khan, who is India’s pride, passed away, he was making poor claims and statements on him. He was also talking rubbish about senior actor late Rishi Kapoor also.”
