Mani Ratnam’s much-awaited movie Ponniyin Selvan 1 has finally been released.

As per reports, Ponniyin Selvan 1 has smashed all records and grossed a whopping Rs 80 crore worldwide gross. This has made it the biggest opening day for any Tamil film.

Aishwarya plays the role of Queen Nandini in the period drama. Apart from the lead star cast, Prabhu, Vikram Prabhu, and Aishwarya Lekshmi also appear in supporting roles.
