Ponniyin Selvan 1 is raking in the moolah at the box office!
As per reports, the film has crossed ₹318 CRORE worldwide, with 130 crores coming from Tamil Nadu!
It opened with an 80 Crore collection on its 1st day and its current domestic collection is allegedly ₹202 crores.
For the unversed, Ponniyin Selvan is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy‘s Tamil historical novel of the same name. Directed by Mani Ratnam, the magnum opus stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan, Jayam Ravi and Sobhita Dhulipala.
