Directed by Sooraj R. Barjatya, Uunchai boasts a stellar cast – Amitabh Bachchan, Anupam Kher, Boman Irani, Danny Denzongpa, Neena Gupta, Parineeti Chopra and Sarika.
The movie is produced by Rajshri Productions.
The movie revolves around the story of four friends – played by Big B, Anupam, Denzongpa and Boman. Denzongpa has only one dream in life, to climb Mount Everest, but he dies before he could fulfill his dream. In honour his last wish, his grief-stricken friends decide to spread his ashes on Everest. The trio leave their cozy Delhi lives to trek to Everest Base Camp. The film’s tagline says, “Friendship was their motivation.”
