Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was returning to Mumbai from United Arab Emirates recently when he was stopped at the airport.
The star had to pay 6.83 lakhs in customs duty. He had been detained over some dutiable items which were worth Rs. 17.86 lakhs.
As per an HT report, the baggage had a Rs 75k Apple iWatch along with 6 empty cases of high-end watches amounting to 17.86 lakhs in total.
SRK had gone to UAE for the Sharjah International Book Fair, where he received the Global Icon of Cinema and Cultural Narrative award.
On the work front, Shah Rukh Khan will next be seen in Pathaan with Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. His other upcoming films are Atlee’s Jawan and Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki.
