Aditya Roy Kapur garnered a lot of praise for his acting stint in Mohit Suri’s Aashiqui 2.
The actor set the screen on fire with his sizzling onscreen chemistry with Shraddha Kapoor.
As per report, Aditya was actually never the first choice for the role of Rahul Jaykar in the romantic musical drama. If this report is to be believed, Aashiqui 2 producer Mukesh Bhatt had approached late actor Vinod Khanna’s third son Sakshi Khanna for the lead role.
However, Vinod Khanna had allegedly allotted his son’s dates to another filmmaker and hence Sakshi was unavailable.
As the report further suggests, Sakshi’s debut project – for which his dates had been allotted – unfortunately failed to go on floors.
On the personal front, Aditya Roy Kapur is now rumoured to be dating Ananya Panday. The actors were snapped together at several Diwali parties this year.
