How much did Govinda Naam Mera’s Digital & Satellite Rights sell for? Read on to know –
It recently released on Disney+Hotstar. Starring Vicky Kaushal, Kiara Advani and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead, the film was well-received by the audiences for its no-brainer comedy.
As per reports, the makers were hoping to get 80 crores for the film. However, Disney+Hotstar locked in 62 crores; Rs 42 crores for the digital rights and the satellite rights for Rs 20 crores.
As per previous reports – Vicky Kaushal has allegedly been paid to the tune of Rs. 5 cores for his role. Bhumi Pednekar and Kiara Advani, who played his reel wife and girlfriend respectively, each got 4 crores.
On the work front, Vicky will next be seen in the biopic Sam Bahadur. He also has a social rom-com film with Sara Ali Khan and The Immortal Ashwatthama in the pipeline.
Bhumi, on the other hand, has The Lady Killer with Arjun Kapoor, Bheed with Rajkummar Rao, and Afwaah with Nawazuddin Siddiqui. Kiara Advani has Satyaprem Ki Katha with BB2 co-star Kartik Aaryan and a big project opposite Ram Charan.
