Urfi Javed was recently detained in Dubai.
Urfi, who is known for her experimental and racy fashion, landed in trouble for wearing allegedly ‘provocative’ clothing in public, which is said to be illegal.
As per reports, Urfi had made the outfit for shooting an Instagram video, which the Dubai people deemed to be ‘revealing’. The problem wasn’t primarily with those clothes but the fact that it wasn’t allowed to wear provocative outfits in ‘public’.
“She had shot a video for her Instagram in an outfit made by her, which was revealing as per the people here in Dubai. The fact that there is no problem with the outfit but where she shot the video was an open area and they don’t consider it to be allowed to wear what she wore. She is being questioned by the police. Let’s see what happens,” a source said.
