The wait is over! Ponniyin Selvan 2 release date is out!
Directed by Mani Ratnam, PS – 1 had created waves globally at the box office.
Ponniyin Selvan 1 is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s historical fiction novel of the same name. Produced by Madras Talkies and Lyca Productions with music by AR Rahman.
Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Vikram, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala, Jayam Ravi, Karthi among others, PS – 1 was reportedly made on a mind boggling budget of Rs 500 crores.
On Wednesday (December 28), the makers dropped a teaser of PS – 2 along with the release date.
In the video, they shared the first look of Aishwarya, Vikram, Jayram Ravi and Karthi from the second installment.
