Shahid Kapoor plays the role of a con artist named Sunny in his OTT debut series, Farzi.
Earlier today, Amazon Prime Video shared a glimpse of Shahid’s character in the series.
In the promo video clip, Sunny is seen using his creative skills to create fake currency notes to lead a luxurious life, while an investigating officer Megha (Raashii Khanna) is seen saying, “rokna padega nahi to rukega nahi (we will have to stop him somehow else he won’t stop at all).”
Directed by Raj Nidimoru & Krishna DK (The Family Man fame), Farzi also stars Vijay Sethupathi and Raashii Khanna in pivotal roles along with Kay Kay Menon, Kubbra Sait, Regina Cassandra, Zakir Hussain, Bhuvan Arora and Amol Palekar.
Farzi Synopsis:
Sunny, a brilliant small-time artist is catapulted into the high-stakes world of counterfeiting when he creates the perfect fake currency note, even as Michael, a fiery, unorthodox task force officer wants to rid the country of the counterfeiting menace. In this thrilling cat-and-mouse race, losing is not an option!
