The Shah Rukh Khan-starrer held the record of being the biggest ever opener among Hindi films.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, Pathaan marked SRK’s comeback to silver screens after a 4-year-long hiatus. The action-packed spy-thriller also stars Deepika Padukone and John Abraham in the lead along with Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles.
The movie opened to a whopping box office collection of Rs 55 crores in India and Rs 106 crores globally.
As per reports, the SRK-starrer witnessed a sale of 45 lakh tickets on its 2nd day.
Sourced from a report,on day 2, January 26, Pathaan apparently collected Rs 70 crores in India, taking the total collection to Rs 125 crores!
Day 1 : ₹55 crores
Day 2 : ₹70 crores
Total : ₹125 CRORES!
According to trade analyst Ramesh Bala, the movie already crossed the 235 crore-mark worldwide at the box office in just 2 days.
