Salman Khan’s cameo in Pathaan sent the Internet into a tizzy, adding to the hype of the film.
Recent rumours suggest that after SRK, Salman will be collaborating with another Khan. He’s considering working with Aamir Khan for the ‘Champions’ movie.
For the unversed, Champions is the Indian remake of the Spanish comedy-drama Campeones. Aamir was supposed to headline it but he backed out after announcing his break from acting. However, he’s still bankrolling the film as a producer.
“Aamir wants Salman to do Campeones. Salman is very much interested in the film, but is still considering other offers. He has liked the script and wants to play the role of a coach for the first time in his career,” a source told Bollywood Hungama.
The project is expected to go on floors in Summer 2023 and Salman Khan will allegedly make a final call on working on this film within a fortnight.
The story of Campeones revolves around a basketball coach who works with a team of mentally disabled players as part of his community service.
