The Tamil actioner Paiyaa, which starred Karthi and Tamannah in the lead, is getting a sequel.

Rumours recently went viral that Janhvi Kapoor was approached along with Arya to star in Paiyaa 2. Her father Boney Kapoor has clarified about this news –

“Dear Media Friends – This is to bring to your notice that Janhvi Kapoor has not committed to any Tamil Films at the moment, requesting not to spread false rumors,” Boney Kapoor wrote on Twitter.

Janhvi’s upcoming line-up of movies includes – Bawaal with Varun Dhawan and Mr and Mrs Mahi with Rajkummar Rao. She was last seen in Mili, which was the remake of the Malayalam film Helen.
