Randhir Kapoor and Babita separated 34 years ago. While Babita lived with Kareena and Karishma Kapoor in an apartment in Lokhandwala, Randhir continued to live in his ancestral home in Chembur.
However, if reports are to be believed, the duo has reunited after 34 years and are now living together at Randhir’s house in Bandra. It is also said that Kareena and Karishma are extremely delighted over the reunion of their parents.
As per reports, “Babita moved in with Randhir soon after he came away from his ancestral Chembur home to his new Bandra property. It has not been an easy time for Randhir to adjust to the change from the house where he lived for years and years.”
The couple separated in the 80s but there was no bitterness between the two and they have always fulfilled their duties towards each other. While talking about why they separated initially, Randhir said, “She found that I was a terrible man who drank a lot and came home late, which was something she didn’t like. And I didn’t want to live the way she wanted, and she couldn’t accept me as I am, though it was a love marriage. So it’s okay. We had two lovely children to look after. She brought them up in the best way, and they excelled in their career. What else could I have asked for as a father?“
However, there is no official announcement from any of the Kapoor family members on this reunion.
