Watch Bheed Teaser –
Anubhav Sinha (Mulk, Article 15 fame) has directed the upcoming social drama Bheed, and it stars Rajkummar Rao and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead. The cast also includes Dia Mirza, Kritika Kamra, Pankaj Kapur and Ashutosh Rana.
Bheed is a commentary on the pathetic condition of migrant workers during the pandemic. Interestingly, the whole film is in black-and-white because the director wanted to draw parallels between the Covid lockdown and the 1947 Partition.
In the teaser, Rajkummar Rao can be seen playing a cop, while Bhumi Pednekar acts the part of a doctor, and Kritika Kamra is a journalist. The teaser shows the harsh realities faced by the stranded migrant workers.
