Starring Rajkummar Rao, Bhumi Pednekar, Pankaj Kapur, Dia Mirza, Ashutosh Rana and Kritika Kamra, Bheed hit theatres on March 24.
Bheed depicts the hard-hitting reality of social disparity when borders were drawn within the country during the pandemic. The movie has been embroiled in controversy lately for comparing the 1947 Partition with the mass migration during the lockdown.
Bheed Box Office Collection Day 2:
According to reports, Bheed had a poor opening at the box office. The movie collected a mere Rs 50 lakhs on Friday. Sourced from a report, the collection remained dull on Saturday as well and minted around Rs 65 lakhs, taking the total collection to Rs 1.15 crore in 2 days.
Day 1: ₹50 Lakhs
Day 2: ₹65 Lakhs
Total: ₹1.15 Crore
As per trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Bheed collected around Rs 37 lakhs at national chains (PVR, INOX, Cinepolis) on its 2nd day.
