Priyanka Chopra Jonas had hit the headlines recently for talking about her tumultuous journey in Bollywood, battling all the politics.
She had previously claimed that she had left for the US because she felt pushed into a corner in Bollywood. The Citadel star has now also said that she won’t be working with people she doesn’t like.
Can’t Work For People I Don’t Like
“I can’t work with people I don’t like anymore. It’s really non-negotiable for me. I have to admire, look up to, like the people I am surrounded with. I have been doing this for a very long time. I want to be excited about going to work, I want to be inspired about going to work, and that has become non-negotiable for me.” – Priyanka said.
I Forgave, I Moved On
When asked what made her open up about this phase of her career, PeeCee replied that she was now confident to talk about that tumultuous journey, and was merely speaking her truth!
“I was talking about the truth of my journey. I think now I was confident to talk about that phase of my life. I think now where I am, I was okay enough to articulate what I felt. I had a very tumultuous relationship with what I occurred. I forgave, I moved on a long time ago and I made peace with it. That’s why it was easy for me to talk about it in an open manner in a safe space.” – Priyanka commented.
