Ponniyin Selvan 2 has crossed the 200-crore mark worldwide within 4 days of its release!
The Mani Ratnam directorial’s domestic collection currently stands in the range of Rs 105-106 crores. It got over its Monday bump with a fairly decent, double-digit collection on day 4.
Ponniyin Selvan 2 had a 32 crore opening, followed by Rs 24 crores on Saturday, 26.50 crores on Sunday. On Day 4, Monday – it raked in a collection of 24 crores reportedly.

Starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan (double role), Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, Sobhita Dhulipala amongst others, PS-2 is based on Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1995 Tamil novel of the same name.
The sequel digs deeper into Nandini’s backstory and her motivation for revenge against Aditha. The conspiracy for the Chola throne continues and Pandyan rebels lurk in the shadows waiting to assassinate Prince Arulmozhi.
