The Netflix Series Scoop has been directed by Hansal Mehta and it stars Karishma Tanna, Prosenjit Chatterjee, Harman Baweja in prominent roles. The drama is inspired by Jigna Vora’s book, ‘Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison’.
Karishma plays Jagruti, an excellent crime reporter who gets a call from the notorious gangster Chhota Rajan and a chance for a career-making story. An unfortunate chain of events follows – leading to a fellow journalist’s death. Jagruti is pinned as the prime suspect and jailed for the offence. Will she come out unscathed?
Scoop Release Date:
Arrives on Netflix on June 2nd.
