The Netflix film Amar Singh Chamkila has been directed by Imtiaz Ali and it stars Diljit Dosanjh and Parineeti Chopra in the lead.
The late singer Amar Singh Chamkila was called as ‘Elvis Of Punjab’. He and his wife Amarjot were mysteriously assassinated on 8 March 1988. It was speculated that Sikh militants were behind the murders.

Maestro AR Rahman has helmed the music composition for this upcoming musical drama. The release date hasn’t been locked down yet, but it will arrive on the OTT platform sometime in 2024.
