Directed by Sameer Vidwans and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Satyaprem Ki Katha stars Kartik Aaryan and Kiara Advani in the lead.
As per reports, Kartik Aaryan who plays Satyaprem “Sattu” Aggarwal in this musical love story – is taking home a paycheque of 25 crores for this role!
His leading lady Kiara Advani is playing Katha Kishan Kapadia and she’s being paid to the tune of 4 crores. Gajraj Rao and Supriya Pathak who essay the role of Kartik’s parents in this movie are being paid 1 crore and 75 lakhs respectively.

The trailer shows Kartik as the lovelorn, cheeky Satyaprem who’s smitten with Kiara’s Katha. He pursues and flirts with her persistently, telling her he’s willing to wait till she’s ready for something serious. Looks like his wish gets fulfilled and he even gets married to her – but going by the grim look on Katha’s face, there appears to be trouble in the paradise.
