Kartik Aaryan has finally broken his silence on his relationships being discussed on Koffee With Karan.
Even though Kartik is yet to appear on KWK S8, he is one of the hot topic of discussions on Karan Johar’s chat show.
Kartik Aaryan‘s love life has hit headlines once again, thanks to Karan’s infamous chat show.
On the 3rd episode of Koffee With Karan S8, Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday graced the coffee couch. KJo revealed that both the girls have one ex bf in common, hinting towards the actor. The filmmaker revealed both Sara and Ananya had dated Kartik in the past.
When Sara Ali Khan was asked on her current cordial equation with Kartik, she said –
“I don’t want to say that ya, it’s all easy because then it comes across as a little more frivolous than it is. It isn’t always easy. When you are involved with anybody, whether it’s friends, professionally, romantically, especially if I am, I get involved and invested. It is not like, ‘Oh yeah, it doesn’t really matter, whatever it’s today, whatever it’s tomorrow’. It’s not like that. It does affect you. But ultimately you have to rise beyond that.”
Kartik Aaryan On Sara Ali Khan Discussing Their Relationship On Koffee With Karan S8:
Now, in his recent conversation with Film Companion, Kartik has opened up on his relationships being a regular topic of discussion on Koffee With Karan. He stated firmly that he only wishes to talk about his work and not his personal life.
The actor also added that he would have liked if his partner(s) would have respected their relationship and not discussed them in public.
“Ek cheez mujhe lagti hai – relationship agar do logo ki hai toh dusre insaan ko bhi woh baatein nahi karni chahiye. Hum sab ko apni relationship ki respect karni chahiye (One thing I believe is that if a relationship is between two people, the other person should not talk about it. We should all respect our relationships).”
“I expect the same from my (partner). It’s not good for someone to speak about the relationship. If things don’t work out… par jab aap saath hote ho kisike toh you don’t imagine it to be like that. You don’t imagine ki yeh khatam ho jayega. You should respect that time, that moment. You should respect yourself also. Aap jab woh baat karte ho toh aisa nahin hai ke samne wala ek hee insaan ke baare mein woh soch raha hota hai, woh dono ke baare mein woh soch raha hota hai (When you are with someone, you don’t imagine things not working out. When you talk about it, it’s not like the other person is only thinking about one person, they are thinking about both).”
For the unversed, Kartik had started dating Sara while they were shooting for Love Aaj Kal (2020). The duo parted ways soon afterwards.
The Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 actor was also rumoured to have briefly dated his Pati Patni Aur Woh co-star Ananya.
