Producer Sajid Nadiadwala has cancelled Bawaal’s theatrical release. It will instead have a direct-to-OTT premiere instead.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari (of Chhichhore fame), Bawaal is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment and stars Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor in the lead.
Bawaal will be arriving on Amazon Prime Video on 27th July 2023, as per the Bollywood Hungama report. Bawaal is set to go global by hosting its world premiere at Eiffel Tower in France.
“Bawaal has a symbolic reference to Paris. The makers have extensively shot some of the key portions in Paris, and the city acts like a character in this tale. The film is essentially a love story with references to World War 2 and the makers are ready to premiere the film in the city of love.” – A source revealed.
