Directed by Karan Johar, the rom-com family drama has an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt.
1) Ranveer Singh –
Ranveer plays the eccentric and OTT male lead Rocky Randhawa. His eye-popping, flamboyant outfits have been the talk of the teaser ever since it was released. We can’t wait to see Ranveer’s infectious charm and energy, as well as sizzling chemistry with Alia Bhatt to dazzle us on the big screen!
As per reports, Ranveer Singh’s fee as Rocky is a whopping 25 crores!
2) Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt plays the gorgeous Rani Chatterjee. Her stunning sarees are bringing back the OG early 2000s KJO movies vibes. Alia can be seen switching flawlessly from romance to melodrama in the brief teaser.
She is allegedly taking home 10 crores as the female lead.
3) Dharmendra
Dharmendra paaji is playing the part of Rocky’s grandfather. It will indeed be a delight to watch the veteran actor grace the big screen with his joviality and wisdom.
He has reportedly charged 1.5 crores for this flick.
4) Jaya Bachchan
Jaya Bachchan will be seen in the role of Rocky’s grandmother. Her stern looks in the teaser indeed spell trouble for the reel couple.
Jaya Bachchan’s fee is 1 crore reportedly.
5) Shabana Azmi
Veteran actress Shabana Azmi is essaying the role of Rani’s Grandmother. The news stills from the movie seem to hint at a ‘past romance’ angle with Dharmendra and Shabana’s characters.
Shabana Azmi is allegedly taking home 1 crore for this project.
