Malayalam filmmaker Siddique Ismail, who also directed Salman Khan’s Bodyguard, passed away on 8 August 2023.
The 63-year-old director reportedly had a heart attack on August 7 at a Kochi hospital. He was on ventilator support, also suffering from liver problems and pneumonia.
“He developed multi-organ dysfunction with clinical deterioration and was declared dead on August 8 at 9.10 pm,” a hospital source revealed.
The late Siddique’s funeral took place at Ernakulam Central Juma Masjid at 6 pm on Wednesday. For the unversed, the filmmaker is survived by his wife Sajitha and daughters Sumaya, Sara, and Sukoon.
