Deepika Padukone is playing a prominent role in Ajay Devgn’s Singham Again.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, this Singham sequel will also star Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar. What exactly is Deepika’s part in this cop universe? Read on to know –
As per the Bollywood Hungama report, Deepika will be the first female cop in this Rohit Shetty Cop Universe! She is allegedly going to play Ajay Devgn’s sister in the film.
“She has already started prep work for this action-packed part. Deepika’s character is more along the lines of a Lady Singham and has the arc of being Ajay Devgn’s sister in the film,” a source revealed.
The source further clarified that Deepika is not going to merely cameo but have a well-written, extended role. She is reportedly going to have a 35-40 day schedule for her part. Singham Again is also going to feature a cameo by Tiger Shroff, introducing him as part of Rohit Shetty’s cop verse. Shroff will be properly headlining another film later on.

To arrive on Independence Day next year – 15 August 2024.
