Gadar 2 Day 1 Box Office Collection Beats OMG 2!
The Gadar sequel raked in a whopping 40.10 crore collection compared to OMG 2’s 10.26 crore opening!
Gadar 2 is touted to be the SECOND HIGHEST opener of 2023! The upcoming Independence Day holiday will have a stellar rise in the footfalls, it is being predicted!
Directed by Anil Sharma, Gadar 2 starring Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel, is a sequel to the 2001 film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. Set against the backdrop of the “Crush India” campaign in 1971, Tara Singh goes missing during a skirmish on the border and is believed to be imprisoned in Pakistan.
Learning this, Tara’s son Charanjeet “Jeete” Singh goes to save him, but Tara is not in Pakistan and Jeete gets imprisoned and tortured by the Pakistan soldiers under Major General Hamid Iqbal, who wants to exact revenge on Tara.
