Jawan Day 1 Collection shatters records! The Shah Rukh Khan film raked in a whopping 65.50 crores (Hindi) on its opening day.
As per Sacnilk.com, Jawan earned 75 crore nett in India; 65 crores in Hindi and 10 crores approximately from Tamil and Telugu.
Jawan Day 1 Collection Beats Pathaan Record?
At the global box office, the film collected 129.6 crores! It is the biggest opener of Bollywood of all time.
It is to be noted that SRK has beaten even his previous movie Pathaan’s record. Pathaan had opened with a 55 crore collection. The 10-crore margin between Jawan (Hindi) and Pathaan’s openers is astounding.

Directed by Atlee and produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma, this actioner stars Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Sunil Grover and Priyamani among others.
The high-octane action-thriller features SRK in a double role as a father-son duo. Packed with massy masala action scenes, blockbuster songs, aesthetic slow-mo shots and seeti-worthy dialogues, this SRK-starrer has been driving the audiences wild.
What Is SRK’s Fee?
The superstar donned multiple different avatars for this movie. Reportedly, he took home a whopping pay cheque of Rs 100 CRORES!
Deepika had a brief cameo as the love interest of the older SRK while Nayanthara played the younger version’s lady love. From a terrorist and hijacker to a vigilante and loyal soldier – Shah Rukh Khan has donned various avatars for his latest movie.
Talking about the budget – it was reported that Jawan was made on a whopping budget of Rs 300 CRORES!
After Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan has Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki with Taapsee Pannu. He will also be seen in Tiger vs Pathaan, which is set to be helmed by action director Siddharth Anand.
