The third instalment of the much-loved comic franchise hit theatres yesterday (28th September 2023).

Directed by Mrighdeep Singh Lamba, Fukrey 3 stars Pulkit Samrat, Varun Sharma, Richa Chadha, Pankaj Tripathi and Manjot Singh. Ali Fazal, sadly, is not the part of the third instalment.

The movie had a box office clash with Vivek Agnihotri’s The Vaccine War.

Fukrey 3 Movie Box Office Collection Day 1:

Fukrey 3 opened to mostly positive response from the audience and critics alike. The film witnessed a fair start at the box office amid the ongoing wave of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan at the box office.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, the movie raked in Rs 8.82 CRORES on its first day at the box office.

He wrote, “Fukrey 3 fares well on Day 1… Evening / night shows perform better… Biz in Maharashtra affected due to Ganpati Visarjan… Needs to witness substantial growth from Fri – Mon for a strong, impressive total… Thu ₹ 8.82 cr. India biz. Box office.”

As per reports, the film had an occupancy of 22.12% on Thursday.

For the unversed, Fukrey Returns had collected R 8 crores on its opening day at the box office.

About Fukrey 3:

Bholi Punjaban (played by Richa) has joined politics and is hellbent to win elections in order to get her old life back. However, the Fukra boys – Hunny (Pulkit), Choocha (Varun), Laali (Manjot) and Pandit Ji (Pankaj Tripathi) are planning to fight against Bholi in the election in Delhi as Bholi’s win would turn the city into a criminal hub.

After his dream becomes reality, Choocha gets a new power as his urine turns into gunpowder.
