Jawan Movie OTT Rights SOLD To Netflix For ‘XXX’ CRORES

The makers of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan movie cracks a record-breaking deal with an OTT platform for its OTT rights.

The high-octane action-thriller has been creating records and breaking them everyday.

The Atlee directorial also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover among others in key roles.

Deepika Padukone and Sanjay Dutt also made a whistle-worthy cameo in this movie. The film released in theatres on 7 September 2023!

According to reports, the OTT rights of Jawan have been sold to Netflix for a whopping amount of Rs 250 CRORES!

As per latest buzz, the movie will release on Netflix withing 45 – 60 days after the release. However, the makers haven’t yet made an official announcement regarding the OTT release.

The SRK starrer has taken the box office by storm across the globe. As posted by Red Chillies Entertainment, the film collected Rs 696.67 CRORES worldwide at the box office in just 8 days.

According to trade analyst Taran Adarsh, Jawan‘s total box office collection (in 8 days) in the Hindi belt is Rs 347.98 Crores. The film raked in Rs 43.35 crores from Tamil and Telugu.

The film created history and minted Rs 65.50 crores on its day 1, making it the highest Bollywood opener in the History of Hindi cinema.

Shah Rukh sported seven different looks for this movie. He plays a double role – a fighter father named Vikram Rathore and his jailer son Azad.
