Vicky Kaushal Sam Bahadur movie teaser is out now! The much-awaited teaser was dropped today (13th October) at an event in Mumbai.
Directed by Meghna Gulzar, the film is based on the life of India’s first Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw. Sam Bahadur also stars Sanya Malhotra as Manekshaw’s wife Silloo and Fatima Sana Shaikh as former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Vicky has perfectly stepped into the shoes of the former Chief of the Army Staff of the Indian Army during the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. In the 1-minute-25-second video, Vicky is seen saying, “Mujhe politics mein koi interest nahi hai (I have no interest in politics).”
The intriguing video ends with Fatima’s character Indira Gandhi telling him that it is a soldier’s duty to sacrifice his life for the country. Vicky’s character corrects her and says, “Soldiers ki duty hai desh ki raksha ke liye dushman ki jaan lena (It is the duty of a soldier to kill anyone who comes in the way of their country’s safety).”

The Vicky Kaushal starrer is set to clash with Ranbir Kapoor’s much-anticipated movie Animal. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the gangster drama also stars Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol and Triptii Dimri.
