Soon after hitting their one-year wedding anniversary mark, the makings of Ali Fazal-Richa Chadha Wedding Documentary were unveiled. It is going to drop soon, they captioned their post on Insta – though the exact date is not known yet.

The duo had worn stunning ivory ensembles by Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla. The bride was decked up in a heavy ivory-gold sharara set and regal wedding jewellery – statement necklace, nose ring and passa. Ali Fazal looked equally dashing in a matching ivory sherwani.
Their Lovestory:
They had already been legally married for 2.5 years by the time they registered their wedding in 2022. The couple had met on the sets of ‘Fukrey’ in 2012 and fell in love ever since.
Ali Fazal’s Romantic Proposal For Richa Chadha:
Despite having a grand proposal planned, Ali had felt it was more romantic to ask his lady love Richa to marry him in their moment.
He’d said, “I did plan something grand for her. I remember we got three days off, and we had gone to the Maldives and the plan was to come back and ask her to marry me. It was some crazy helicopter thing, with things flying in the air, and probably a hundred people would have seen. So I was a little nervous. But while we were in the Maldives, I had planned a surprise dinner for her birthday…it was on an island, and we were in the middle of the ocean, so it was very romantic.”
He further continued – “I was just sitting there and admiring the beautiful sky and I decided to propose in the moment—it was as clichéd as it could get. It is weird because that’s the kind of thing I used to mock my friends for. I’d tell them that this only happens in movies. But then I was like, ‘Screw it!’ and I just went ahead with something simple. I thought it was kind of cute.”
