The promo of Koffee with Karan Season 8, Episode 1 dropped and power couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are the 1st guests this season.
The episode will be premiering on Disney+ Hotstar at 12 AM on 26th October 2023, Thursday. In the fun-filled promo, Ranveer revealed that he and Deepika had been engaged in 2015 itself.
“In 2015, I proposed to her, before someone else could intervene, I put a lock on it,” Ranveer said.
Ranveer-Deepika even poked fun at Karan Johar, playfully calling him ‘Tharki uncle’.
When KJO asked Deepika if she would date Rocky Randhawa, she quipped back – “I am MARRIED to Rocky Randhawa!”
Karan also questioned Deepika as to who she felt she had amazing on-screen chemistry with. She took Hrithik Roshan’s name. For the unversed, she is co-starring with Hrithik in the aerial actioner ‘Fighter’.
This is the first time Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone are gracing the Koffee with Karan couch together. The couple had gotten married on 14 November 2018 at the picturesque Lake Como in Italy.

Apart from Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, S8 is reportedly going to have Alia Bhatt and Kareena Kapoor Khan feature on the show together.
On the other hand, another power couple – Kiara Advani and her husband Sidharth Malhotra might grace the show too. The Singham duo Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn are also on the guest list for the promotion of Singham Again.
Ranveer Singh And Deepika Padukone Upcoming Projects –
On the work front, Ranveer will next be seen in Singham Again as Simmba. He is reuniting with Rocky Aur Rani co-star Alia Bhatt for Baiju Bawra reportedly too.
Meanwhile, Deepika Padukone has Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and the pan-Indian sci-fi actioner Kalki 2898 AD with Prabhas. She was introduced as Shakti Shetty in Singham Again.
