Filmmaker-host Karan Johar is back with the brand new season of his infamous chat show Koffee With Karan. The first episode of KWK S8 aired at 12 AM on Thursday on Disney+ Hotstar.

1) Dreamy Proposal In The Maldives:
During the show, Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone shared the dreamy proposal story which took place in the Maldives. He revealed that within just six months into their relationship, he already knew that she was ‘the one’.
He had bought a diamond ring and secretly carried it with him while the Ram Leela couple was jetting off to the Maldives for a vacation. Ranveer revealed that he had proposed to Deepika for marriage in the middle of the sea and there was just a tiny sliver of sand in the middle and all around was just sea. How romantic is this!
2) Secret Engagement In 2015:
It was already revealed in the promo that the couple got secretly engaged in 2015. They had met at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s house for the first time for the reading of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela.

The couple revealed that it all happened on the sets of their movie. They also shared an ‘aww’-dorable behind the scene story of their kissing scene from the song ‘Aang Laga De Re’. Ranveer stated –
“Story wise what happens is that Ram’s friend wants to call him down so they launch a brick through the window that’s the story and scene we’re shooting. We’re lip locked in this like passionate… so a brick comes through the window but we were still in it (kissing), not realizing.”
3) DeepVeer’s Wedding Video:
It was a heartwarming moment for all of us when DeepVeer shared the unseen wedding video on KWK. From DP-Ranveer’s engagement footage to them sharing candid moments and performing their pre-wedding festivities… It was emotional, beautiful and our hearts melted while watching the video. Even Karan Johar had tears in his eyes after watching it for the fist time in his show.
